132-bit Secure & Private

Your data is secure and automatically deleted. All processing is done in your browser with 132-bit encryption. Data uploaded to our servers is automatically deleted after 1 hour of inactivity.

132-bit data secured with encryption*

We use AES-GCM 128-bit encryption combined with HMAC and cryptographic salt, providing effective ~132-bit entropy for any data. This military-grade encryption ensures your image data remains completely private and secure. All data is automatically deleted from our servers after 1 hour of inactivity.

* Technical note: 128-bit AES-GCM + 32-bit HMAC/salt = ~132-bit effective security entropy

  • Automatic data deletion after 1 hour
  • 132-bit AES-GCM encryption for all data
  • No tracking or analytics cookies
  • Web Crypto API for secure encryption

FAQ & troubleshooting

Does resizing reduce image quality?

Not necessarily. Our tool uses high-quality interpolation algorithms to maintain visual fidelity. Reducing size typically preserves quality very well. Enlarging images may show some loss depending on the enlargement ratio. The quality slider lets you fine-tune the balance.

What happens if I unlock aspect ratio?

Unlocking aspect ratio allows you to set width and height independently. This will stretch or squash your image if the new proportions differ from the original. Keep it locked to maintain the original proportions and prevent distortion.

Can I resize multiple images at once?

Batch resizing is coming in v2. Currently, you can resize one image at a time, but the process is instant since it runs entirely in your browser.

What is the maximum image size I can upload?

You can upload images up to 25MB. The tool can handle very large images (10000+ pixels), but processing time increases with size. Most images are processed in under a second.

Why is my JPEG file smaller than PNG?

JPEG uses lossy compression (some data is discarded) creating smaller files, while PNG uses lossless compression. For photographs, JPEG is usually better for smaller file sizes. For graphics with transparency or sharp text, use PNG.

Where does my image go after I resize it?

Your image is processed entirely in your browser and is never uploaded to our servers. When you resize, the data is temporarily held in your browser memory, and is automatically deleted after one hour of inactivity. You have complete control—download what you want, and the rest is securely discarded.
